With the wind in our hair, we headed straight to one of the Gold Coast’s beaches for this family photography session. Kozma (2) has the most beautiful imagination and was funny and clever and never stopped moving. He loved to cuddle and kiss everyone and their daughter Alexa was so content being in her mama’s arms with the the cutest squishy face. George (dad) was a big softie and Irene was a dream to photograph. She surrendered completely in front of the camera and was able to embrace being with her family.
This is what she said about her experience.
“I’ve been wanting to take some family photos since my son was born, nearly three years ago. In between then and now we had our second baby, so I decided it was definitely time to stop dreaming and just book a session. I found Bridget through an Instagram search for family photographers in the Gold Coast and instantly loved the look of her candid photos.
We were so happy with how the photo session ran, we weren’t told how to pose or behave so there was no awkwardness. My toddler ran wild and Bridget kind of just followed us around – I’m amazed at how natural it all was. The photos captured were beautiful, real moments.
Her style is definitely raw and real. We show love through our every day interactions, and that really is what she captured for us.
Bridget, I can’t thank you enough! These pictures are so beautiful. Thank you for capturing my family and delivering the pictures so quickly. It will be a pleasure to recommend you!” Irene Sarris
If you would like an emotive storytelling session like this, I would love to here from you.

"I don't really like photos of myself", "I hate every photo of myself" or "I'm am the least photogenic person you have met". (insert multiple variations here). Please let me give you permission to stop right there, because this belief is robbing you of precious memories, not to mention a beautiful legacy to pass onto your

I met with Mia Taninaka and her sons for an outdoor family session, one sunny afternoon in a special location in the hinterland of Byron Bay. This session embodies everything I love exploring in my work. The chaos, beauty and vulnerability of motherhood. Romantic yet raw. Intense and free. Amazing and ordinary. My location guide
In the beautiful Byron Bay location of Coorabell, this little family of three let me capture this season of life.
Byron Bay family photographer. Recently, I had the pleasure of being able to photograph Bohanna and her family as they passed through Byron Bay in their vintage caravan. For the photographers reading this, the whole shoot lasted about an hour, taking place in golden hour. The entire shoot was shot with my canon 5d mark
Some families love adventure. This is evident in their Byron Bay family home and the photo session we planned for The Lane Family. You can see in this photo session how playing with textures and warm tones can really add that extra something to your photos and also have a timeless effect which will make
As a mum and a photographer, I know all about being behind the camera….it is very rare I’m in front of the lens. In fact, in my quest to get as many mothers to exist in the photographs with their children, I became a somewhat expert at avoiding the frame. Hypocrite, I know. I had
I got to be the photographer for this beautiful family in their home in Byron Bay. This shoot is really special to me because I photographed them on the day that same sex marriage became legal in Australia....so this was kind of a big deal. There were no two other people I would have preferred
